As we finish up our 4th year on Main Street in the sweet town of Sebastopol we are feeling thankful for our success and all the love and support the town has shared with us. As we continue to strive for fresh sustainable and delicious food we also try to stretch chefs imagination into making some wonderful new specials everyday. We thank our lucky stars to be serving food that we make from scratch everyday with a staff that is truly phenomenal. So Happy New Year from the Gypsy Team and heres to a peaceful and loving 2016.
Cozy Comfy Friday Nights
As the days grow shorter and the weather gets cooler and the garden starts to fade make your way to the Gypsy for one of our Friday Night Dinners. Local Made from Scratch Comfort Food dinners featuring weekly Seasonal specials as well as our signature Fried Chicken and Pot Roast made the way my aunts made it every sunday in Missouri. We love our Friday Nights with live music and great food.
Fall in West County
Its Fall and time to start thinking about local squash, beets, and Heirloom tomato soup with grilled cheese. Brussel Sprouts come to the table w/bacon chutney, Crab season will be starting soon and the holidays are coming. Friday Night Dinners are even more cozy when the days are shorter. Come join us.
Heirloom tomato BLT
Its that time of year and there is nothing better than local summer produce like the incredible heirloom tomatoes we are putting into our signature Candied Bacon BLT this weekend. Sayer Farms in Windsor is the brain child of Peggy Sayer wife of winemaker Rick Sayer who manage to grow the best veggies in town to go with Ricks amazing wines at Rodney Strong. Beans,squash-summer and fall,eggplant,tomatoes,watermelon,apples abound and do not forget the cucumbers.
